The Government currently offers grants to support households finance the installation of heat pumps and energy-efficient heating systems.
The Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) offers households grants of up to £6,000 towards the installation of heat pumps and up to £5,000 for air-source heat pumps and some biomass gas boilers.
However, a recent poll of Express.co.uk readers has found widespread support for the £450million scheme to be scrapped.
