Construction defect refers to a deficiency in the construction process, in design, materials or workmanship which leads to a failure in some aspect of the structure being built.

  • Doors, Windows & Glass not installed correctly

Is structural design defects and deficiencies a problem?

If a property has structure or design defects this can be a problem and cause more damage to the property if left unnoticed and not rectified correctly and may cause risk to life is major.  Low quality building materials may also cause problems even when installed correctly.
