Welcome to our GDPR section.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect on 25 May 2018, replacing the 1995 Data Protection Directive. The information below will give you a very brief guide to what it is and how you may be affected.

What is the GDPR?

The legislation was designed to "protect and empower" all EU citizens, giving them more control over their personal data and how it is used. It will transform the way organisations across the EU approach data privacy and the penalties they will be subjected to for misusing your data.

How is my personal data currently collected?

When you buy goods and/or services online, or even when you just visit a website, the organisation may gather your data. They may collect information such as your name, address, date of birth, viewing habits, etc.
